GOODY TWO SHOES: Media Bias? What Media Bias?
Piqued over an interview (video) by CNN anchor Campbell Brown with McCain campaign spokesperson Tucker Bounds over Sarah Palin’s family life and qualifications, John McCain abruptly cancelled an interview with Larry King the following night.
CNN got even on the closing day of the GOP convention by using a still shot from Palin’s acceptance speech on its Home Page that makes it appear as though she was giving a “Heil Hitler” salute. So Palin has now joined the club of Repubs and conservatives who have been likened to Nazis.

I am a female public health professional, with a doctorate from one of the Ivy Leagues, whose career has been dedicated to empowering the poor in underserved communities. I am a feminist and have been able to balance the demands of work and motherhood for the past 20 years (with the support of my husband, who is also a professional). With my education in human biology and genetics, I am also pro-life; this is consistent with my commitment to defense of all human life. Given how many "feminist" columnists recently have degraded Palin with appallingly sexist attacks just because she disagrees with them on the abortion issue, Tammy Bruce's article today in the San Francisco Chronicle is a refreshing change. It takes the high road and depicts feminism at its best and in its fuller scope.

it isn't just the "heil Hitler" pose, i also cannot figure out why the put in that ziz zag. if it separate Palin from someone else then i can understand but it doesn't. but it is also interesting that the ziz zag is also rather similar to the SS symbol of nazis. interesting.

It took a while to figure out what that zigzag is - it's the lighted edge of the stage. But make no mistake about it, someone went through the video of Palin's speech frame by frame to get this still - she must have been waving to the crowd at that moment. That zigzag, dark background and the raised arm are sinister and clearly meant to evoke Nazism.

When Palin spoke, the stage was a rectangle. There should not be that ziz zag. Maybe i haven't look hard enough but i have not seen any other clip with that.

Maybe The Stiletto should take another look ... Will be interested to learn what you find out.

Of the thousands of pictures taken CNN choose this one. It was no accident.

It is a legitimate picture: the lighting at the edge of the stage did zig-zag like that, and, no doubt, at some point in the speech Sarah did probably wave her hand like that.
CNN DID deliberately search for and USE that particular photo at that particular angle at that single instant to GIVE THE IMPRESSION of Sarah making a NAZI salute.
Why" Because of their gut-level vicious hatred for her morals, her religion, and her baby.
And they don't much like her politics either, for that matter.

Thank you for exposing this obviously photoshopped picture... Take a look at the reflections on the side of the "zig-zag" thing - the lighting is completely wrong. There was no such thing on stage next to the podium. This is more blatant slander courtesy of CNN who ran the photoshopped "bikini photo" yesterday morning, and an article in which the "facts" have all been debunked (previous to the publication) by other MSM outlets. CNN needs to be sued post-haste. And, their license needs to be revoked by the FCC. There is no "news" coming from the "Communist News Network" only agitprop from Obamaites.
